Heading to Singapore from Doha soon? Before booking your flights, make sure your visa requirements are crystal clear!
A common trap for Doha expats living in West Bay, Al Sadd, or Old Airport is thinking a Qatar ID replaces an entry visa. It doesn’t! Your passport nationality determines whether you need a visa:
• Indian, Bangladeshi, & Pakistani passports: Visa required before flying.
• Qatari & Nepali ordinary passports: Visa-free under current ICA guidelines.
For those who need a visa, the Singapore Embassy in Doha requires submission through their published list of authorised agents. You will need a completed application form, passport copies, travel itinerary, and an official Letter of Introduction (LOI).
Standard processing takes at least 5 working days, so start collecting your documents early. Also, remember that every traveler must submit the SG Arrival Card within 3 days before landing in Singapore.
